Just used my new hd200u
 

I picked up my new GY-HD200u on Friday and tested it out on a Bar-Mitzvah on Saturday. I was a little concerned about how everyone talked about the poor low light quality, but it really isn't bad at all. I did bump the gain up to 6db which brightened the picture up to my DV500 quality with no noticable grain. The crispness of the picture is increadible.

I used a HD110u demo unit for a few days but hated the 720/30p. I'm not a "film" look kinda guy and I don't want to re-learn how to shoot in that mode. The 720/60p is as smooth as butter no matter how quickly I panned. It will be great for the sporting events I shoot.

I'll be ordering my second one on Monday.
