Apple sent out emails saying anyone who bought a G5 after August 16 can get Panther for $20.

My buddy bought a G5 on Monday and he gets a free upgrade.

I placed my up to date order on 10/20. Fedex reports it was picked up on 10/22; it should be waiting for me when I get home tonight. You can check your order status and track it by logging into the Apple Store.

Red my warning in the Mac section about Default Folder X.

Sorry to show my ignorance, but what is "default folder X"?

I have no clue, either, which is why we're here. (Besides the beer.)
