JVC HM170/200 J-Log like settings?
 

Hello,

Thinking of getting a HM170 as a knock about B camera for my LS300. Anyone able to mimick a J-Log footage with the internal settings in the HM170? Is there some reason JVC hasn't released a firmware update for the HM170/200 to include J-Log?

Anyway my guess would be Cinema Gama, black stretch, sharpness drop to min or off...and maybe drop color a bit. Or maybe it's not worth it with the sensor? Adjust to how I would think I might grade it in camera like older HDV days?
