URGENT2: Attaching Tripod to Crane through 1cm x 1cm hole
 

Problem:

No way to connect tripod to crane as the crane has a 1 cm across by 1 cm hieght round hole, which my tripod screw obviously will not reach through or screw onto.

First off, why have you started a new thread for this?

If that photo in the first thread really was of the headstock of your "crane", then there is no way on this planet I can see how it can be mounted on a tripod, not without endangering anyone near it.

The only suggestion I can make is the same one I made yesterday - go back to where you bought that thing and get them to show you how it is supposed to be mounted and on what.

It might be possible to mount a 501 head on the business end (not that you put up a photo of the business end), but I cannot see any way you are going to mount that thing on a 501.

haha no but seriously, I managed to fix my problem with a bolt, washer and nut.

I will post pictures of my welfare setup soon
