Change of Aspect Ratio
 

I am using Final Cut Pro to edit some HD footage. WHenever I apply transitions or effects to the footage, it converts from 16:9 to 4:3 during the transition or effect and then reverts back to 16:9 when that effected clip or transition is complete? Why is this? It is very annoying. Please help. Thank you.
