Questions about editing HELP!

I am shooting in HDV on the Sony HDR-FX1

I am capturing in m2t ... using connectHD...

then converting that m2t file to the .avi with connectHD

I then edit that .avi with Vegas5d... but it is losing audio/video sync.

HELP!

What can I do???

My end product does not have to be in HDV... but I want to maintain as much video quality as possbile... and keep the 16x9 aspect ratio of the camera...

Please advise

Have you filed a trouble ticket at www.cineform.com/support ? Sounds like something tech support can help solve. They will need to know the version number of Connect HD, whether you are using the Sony or CineForm download, and where the audio/video sync issue can be observed.
