Amazing.

I've got to start thinking about staffing my Phoenix shoots out of LA!

Just think, I can pay that day rate PLUS provide a ticket on Southwest coming and going EVERY DAY and STILL save a boatload of money over hiring local talent.

Sweet.

Comedians.

Low budget shoot. Great Opportunity for those who need the experience and contacts.

Not trying to offend anyone with the low rate, but it is low budget. If you need the experience and contacts, email Joe, at dubb57@hotmail.com.

Not my expertise, but have you tried: www.getacoder.com or www.getafreelancer.com there are lots of 'm up there.

Although a lot of people from "all over", also many U.S. and U.K. freelancers.

I'm interested in the job but live in Seattle. Is there a budget for travel and accommodation or are you looking for locals?

Eric Gulbransen May 1st, 2008 11:22 AM

Brian, check these guys out. http://www.digitalmediafactory.net/

I've met them and seen their studio/stage. Also know the owner of the old Wrigleys factory in Santa Cruz, where they are set up now. They are very nice guys.

Where to demo XDCAM in LA?

I'm in LA 9th-12th, looking to demo an XDCAM 355, possibly against an HPX-500/2000. Anyone know any dealers I should look at?

Thanks,
Jad
