Camera Operator Germany, Berlin - 26. & 27. September

3 Attachment(s)
Hi folks!
I'm about to record a long drummer-concert on 26. and 27. September 2009 at FEZ-Berlin. The "Samba Syndrom" is a big workshop for amateurs and professionals. The concert recording is about their evening-presentation.

I need three camera operators für these days. Budget is 150€ for every operator.
Beginners are welcome!

We edit live and communicate via intercom. The result will be a dual-DVD for sale (about 150x) and live-video on screen.

Talking language for the video-team is strict German!

If you are interested or know someone, just mail me your CV and some video-previews

Camera Operator - Germany

Hi

I would like to find a good camera guy around the Frankfurt area to help me get a project off the ground. It's shooting a pilot for a show and it will involve lots of high-powered glamorous supercars.

So if you'd like to shoot them then get in touch, it will be low paid to start with, but I hope I can turn it into something useful.

By the time we start shooting I should have a Sony HVR-Z1 and an A1E back-up, but if you have your own equipment it would obviously be a big bonus.

This is not restricted to top line pros, passionate amateurs with a real eye for a shot are welcome.

Thanks
Nick Hall

"48 Hour"-like film project in Charleston, SC

I am looking for a crew and talent to make a short next weekend (22 August) as practice for The 48 Hour Film Project. Earlier this year our 48 Hour short was featured as a "Best of DC": Bad Media on Vimeo

I'm looking for crew (please send resume and links to previous works):
* Director
* Scriptwriter
* Sound tech / boom operator
* Composer
* Assistant camera operator / focus puller
* Grips
* Lighting tech
* Editors

And talent: any age, any sex, any race. Please send headshot, resume and links to any works that are online.

The plan is to do a simulation of the rules of the real 48 Hour Film project: Friday night we will draw a genre and have 48 hours to write, direct, film, edit and score the 4-7 minute short. We will be filming on digital 35mm at 1080p. The short will be posted to Vimeo in HD and everyone will receive onscreen credits and a DVD for their demo reel.

Tramm:

I usually do San Jose 48 hour here in California, but missed it this year.

I was itching with hearing about Jon shooting.

Just wondering if there is enough interest in the 5D community to run a 48 hour in conjunction with you at the same time as yours.

Need help with shooting wedding videos

Thanks for looking everyone,but we now have someone that is able to help out!

Hi Everyone,

Well I've kinda hit a wall with two video shoots I have booked this coming fall/winter. I shoot stills and jumped into video last year. I am no longer booking video and only have a few left for this year. I have a friend helping with most of them but I am really stuck with two of them.

Yikes! Those things are rough. I can't imagine doing one just for practice. Once or twice a year seems to be about my limit for those.

WTR : Interview Light / Massachusetts

Will be in Northampton, Ma. from Sept. 5th - 9th to visit with some family to begin gathering on tape a sense of family history.

Most will be informal yet some stories I want to have shared in a more interview format.

Could only fit basic camera equipment as carry-on the plane. Sadly don't trust baggage handling if I checked my light kit so it stays home.

Might someone in the forum live in western Massachusetts that has a basic light kit with softbox or at the least a light with a softbox could rent during my stay ?

Am dependable, very dependable when it comes to borrowed/rented gear and can provide professional references.

best,

Ken Beals

Sound Person (audio) needed in Washington DC/NY Area.

I will be doing some small shoots on my EX-3 in the Washington DC and NYC locations late September. These are small 2 minute Eulogies or 2 minute sound bytes from people who are very used to public speaking.
I am looking for a sound person to assist me - either recording outside the camera are running XLR cable into the Ex-3 is fine. I can provide audio equipment if required but it's not the best - I have Sennheiser Lavs - Audio Technica Condensers and Shotguns and a Rode Shotgun.
Please reply to this thread with contact info.

I used to work for a producer in Northampton when I lived there years ago, very nice lady name of Marion Judd. She had an Arri kit and I assume still does. Might try giving her a call at 413-585-5755 and tell I her I passed on her name.

Thank-you so very much Charles !

Will give her a call and let you know how it goes.

sincerely,

Ken B.
