Recording DVHS...

Hello, just a general question on DVHS recorders. I've heard bits and pieces from different places, maybe even on this forum, but not sure, that a DVHS HD stream can be recorded to a regular SVHS tape. Is that true?

yes, provided you drill the right hole at the right place.
