Re: Slowly getting the hang of it
Hi Guys
I finally found something on this board I know about. I decided to do Aerial Videography seven long years ago. I currently have a Trex 700 streched to 800 with DJI Ace One and 3 axis stabiled Gimbal. I can haul up to a 5d but I shoot with a T3i. Yes, on occasion I do crash. Im on my 3rd T3i I also have a DJI Flamewheel 550 with naza GPS. I carry a gopro on that. Flying any RC craft is just like Video production. You cant learn it over a month. Get ready to Practice Practice Practice. It is getting easier....but so far you still need to know how to fly. You guys help me become a better editor and I can teach you EVERYTHING about flying a camera through the air with an RC platform My Heli http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3811/9...0a6310a2_c.jpg My Gimbal http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2821/9...b4e3bd3d_c.jpg |

Hot dam that's a mean machine, Is that chopper as big as it seems?
Have you a shot of it with something of a known size for perspective.. Edit so that your fantastic opening sequences and your equally exciting closing scenes are really close together (lol) |
Re: Slowly getting the hang of it
The Body of the heli is about 5 feet long. Blades are 800mmx2 so its roughly a 170 cm or 6 foot rotor disk It does become the center of attention when it fires up.
