Its nice to see a forum for AP.

I do a lot of AP and love it. Here's a couple of samples.

This was shot with a Canon 7D out of a Bell Jet Ranger using a bungee cord.

Over the past couple of years I've been using multirotors to lift a Sony NEX5n and a Go Pro.

This first one was an early one with a quad rotor and GoPro mounted directly to the frame.

This is some out takes from a project shot in Africa with a Quad and NEX5n.

I now have a much larger Hexacopter and I'm waiting for things to be sorted out with the available breshless gimbals then I'll fly a DSLR.

I loved the last video especially.

In fact I have decided that the whole concept of the Steadicam is based on a Giraffe's head as it runs. Those few seconds at the end were a revelation. How can something so obviously compromised for fast movement with sudden changes of direction, manage to accomplish it so gracefully?

Going off topic, but I assume the Neil Young music is used sans license? I've never had the nerve to put any projects online that used unlicensed music, but I'm sorely tempted.

I'm glad you enjoyed the videos.

Music rights is always a highly contested debate which I got bored with a long time ago. I finally came to the conclusion that it was OK for me to use copyrighted music for non commercial videos like these. The fact that they're non commercial doesn't make it legal but if you watched any of the commercial videos on my Vimeo page I licensed the music for those.

How I differentiate the videos is that like the Quad Safari video it doesn't promote any products or services, I went to Africa, shot some video and wanted to share it and there's little, if any benefit from using the commercial music. Again, that doesn't make it right but its how I wrapped my head around this issue. I hope that people like my videos enough that they would go out and purchase the music I used.
