Web site video clip encoding
Please take a look at the video clips on the website I am working on and let me know if the encoding looks about right.

Not bad. What software did you use to do the encoding?

Thanks for the input. I used windows media encoder ver. 9. It was easy to use and is free.

I am pleasantly surprise with the latest codec in Premiere to prepare a HDV file as a .wmv file. Check this one out as an example.

reduce the file size, chris
Quote:
hi, chris, i clicked on your link. a huge windows media player window popped up. after about 1 minute it had only buffered to about 14%, so i closed the window. i'd recommend reducing the file size to around 320x240. i use a max kbps of 200, also, which is between a "slow dsl" and a "medium dsl" speed. and i'm currently experimenting with a frame rate of 15 fps, which is friendlier to older processors/computers. |
It is not the brand name of the DVD media you should be concerned about, but rather the manufacturer of the DVD media. The brand names purchase from a variety of DVD manufacturers, some good, some bad. See the Blank DVD media quality guide for more information.
