FCP Print to video with timeline TC
 

Hi,

I am working on Final Cut Pro, and I have my timeline set to start at 01:00:00:00.

I want to export my footage to a DVCAM tape using a Sony DSR-11, and I want my tapes TC to be exactly the same as my timelines TC.

When I do Print to Video, the TC on the DSR-11 starts at 00:00:00:00.

Basically, I want my tapes TC to represent exactly the TC on my timeline. I cant get this to work!

Does anyone have any knowledge on this issue?

Normally this is done over RS-232 or RS-422, which your deck doesn't have.

So try this instead:
