Sequence Renaming in FCE - Virus?
Lately I'm noticing that my sequences in FCE are renaming themselves. I've noticed it most with sequences generated from Photoshop files.
Here's what happens: 1. I open the sequence from the Photoshop file, let's say named "Photoshop 1" 2. I open the other sequence, let's say named "Sequence 1" 3. I cut and paste a few things from Photoshop 1 to Sequence 1, render Sequence 1 4. Presto! - Sequence 1 is now named Photoshop 1 and Photoshop 1 retains it's name. No data seems to be lost or shuffled. It's just annoying and weird. Any thoughts? Cause or Cure? Thanks in advance for the help. This seems to be really slowing things down. Kevin |
How odd! Have you tried a software update? Maybe you're running a buggy version of FCE? If you are running the latest, maybe try trashing the preferences, etc. If it's just one project in particular that's acting weird, maybe try creating a new project, sequences, etc. from scratch? Sounds to me like some weird bug that Apple hasn't found yet!
