Sony PD-170
Sony PD-170 DVCAM and Mini-DV Camcorder. Shoots both DVCAM mode or mini-dv mode. In DVCAM mode the camera shoots with 100 more lines resolution than in dv mode. It also goes through the tapes faster. You get 60 minutes from an 80 minute tape, 40 minutes from a 60 minute tape in DVCAM mode. Mini-dv mode you get what the tape specifies it is. Used as a second Camera for weddings. Very good condition.
1 flaw. On back right side of eyepiece plastic extender is slightly melted. A light accidentally turned on in the case with the camera and melted it. There is no hole, I have to point it out to people before they see it. Cosmetic only. See pic. Lots of extras. (6) NP-F970 Lithium Ion Batteries. Each battery will run the camera for about 500 minutes each. (2) Extra lenses. Sony Wide Angle lens x0.7 VCL-HG0758, Raynox Semi-Fish Eye Wide Angle 0.3x MX-3000 Pro. No scratches on any of the lenses. AC adaptor / battery charger AC-V700 plus extra adaptor cords. Wireless remote. Century LCD Magnifier (Slips over flip out lcd viewfinder). This blocks the light and also magnifies the image on the viewfinder to make sure you are in focus. Sony HVL-20DW2 battery operated video light. The NP-F970 batteries plug onto the back of this light to power it. It also has a Lumiquest Mini- Soft Box that attaches onto the front of the light for great diffusion. Shure Wireless & Audio Technica Mixer
Shure LX Wireless Audio System with Audio Technica AT-MX341a (4) channel Smart Mixer. (3) Shure units with Lav mics. Shure wireless receivers run on AC with battery operated transmitters. Great for schools that put on plays or banquet facilities or halls that need more than one wireless mic.
The frequency’s of the transmitters are: 190.600 MHZ 200.300 MHZ 202.200 MHZ They do not interfere with one another they all work great at the same time. The frequency’s have great separation numbers to not have any cross talk between them. The Audio Technica “Smart Mixer” is just that. It switches between (4) channels of inputed audio automatically or you can monitor and adjust them manually. I used to run all 3 wireless units through the mixer and ad a shotgun microphone (for ambient sound) and mixed the four channels live. My wedding videos, dance recitals and plays got the best mixed audio in town. All of this fits into a waterproof, almost unbreakable Pelican Case model 1550. All power supplies included. Ready to go!
