Adobe Encore DVD 1.5 - problem
I'm making a DVD with one menu and several clips.
All files are edited in Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5, exported as avi, and then imported to Adobe Encore DVD 1.5. End action for each clip is to start playing the next clip in the sequence, with override set to return to the menu. The problem is: The "end action" of some of the clips is not working. After those clips, the video is returning to the menu. But on some clips, the end action workes as it should. Anyone experienced this before? |
I have seen the same problem and what I learned is the "end action" for either a clip or menu buttom behave differently. Verify your end action for clips and buttons.

Thank you. Will look at that.

Follow up
After doing a little research and testing, it seems like the problem is the "override" function of the "End action".
The problem occurs only if I set the override function. (In this project it is set to "back to the menu") But only some clips have problems with the end action. Any suggestions? |
Problem solved
Finally I found a solution to the problem.
The problem was that I used the override function for the timelines also, and not only for the menu buttons. I found a video tutorial on the internet if anyone is interrested. |
Trond,
>I found a video tutorial on the internet if anyone is interrested. Yes, please post the URL for this tutorial. Thanks! Ken W. |
Ken
I'm sorry, but I have forgotten the url to the tutorial. But I can email it to anyone interrested... It is a 1,7MB wmv-file. |
Update:
Ken, I have sent an email with the tutorial to you. |
The Adobe website has a bunch of tutorial clips, many from Total Training.
