i think i sent you an email sometime back on this subject, but i'm not sure.

regarding the SEARCH engine for finding threads by key words. i have used this function a number of times before posting a thread, to see if the subject that interests me has been threaded in the past.

unfortunately the search engine will not accept key words under three letters. this limit i imagine has some logic behind it, but it doesn't take into account the numerous abbreviations people tend to use. one cant look up: DV, PC, FX, AF, VV, G2, etc...

wouldn't it be possible to make 2-letter words searchable as long as there is a minimum of lets say... 2 key words to search?

just wondering.

I did take this into consideration some weeks ago and changed the minimum search string to two characters... tried it just a minute ago and it seems to work; let me know if you have any problems. Also Adi, please fill out your location ("edit user profile" under the "user cp" option at top of page). Hope this helps,
