Text box only
 

Hello all,

I tried to post a video in the "show your work" forum after reading the how to's. All I get is a text box and pasting a YT URL into it reveals {url] link [/url} the { & } so it doesn't show up as a link.

Under the text box I see;

You may post new threads
You may post replies
You may not post attachments
You may edit your posts
BB code is On
Smilies are Off
[IMG] code is Off
HTML code is Off

Some forums have a post 10 before you can do certain things does that apply here. I did try the FAQ's but couldn't find anything.

J.M., the system should automatically parse a YT URL and embed a player.

The shorter YT "share" links generally work better, but the full YT URL should do the job too.

Make sure it's just the link with no embedding code or anything else.

Can't show you here as this is the Announcements board where video embedding is turned off intentionally.
