Hey just curious. how does the status classification on the DV info net work? Im just starting to pay attention to it. Is it an indication of how long youv'e been registered or how many posts? I looked around to find explanation but missed it. Thanks.

Do you mean the titles under your name, like "regular crew"? These are based solely on a simple post count (with the exception of the Wrangler moniker of course).

yes, the titles below everyones names. I'm part of the regular crew now. what's my next stop? Inner circle? I'll wear these stripes proud.

Those are some rather arbitrary titles... if somebody has a bteer structure in mind, I'm always open to suggestions... nothing is locked in stone around here!

You could allow people to make their own member titles, assuming everybody refrains from vulgarities. Otherwise, the current system seems to make sense (unless you could make a system that takes both time spent on the board and post count together, but that seems difficult and unnecessary)

BTW - Have I plateaued at Inner Circle? ;)

Actually, I like the way things are now. Especially since I'm closing in on "Major Player". I feel like I am gaining rank, and these titles are stripes on my shoulder. (I don't get out much!!)
