To the Festivals, and step on it!
OK folks. Some good news. I have been asked to submit both "Secrets" and "Frame 37" to numerous short festivals. How excited I am...
Eerie Horror Film Festival http://www.eeriehorrorfest.com/ The Flatland Film Festival http://www.flatlandfilmfestival.com/ and locally, the Look at My Shorts festival http://lookatmyshorts.sonnyboo.com/video.htm Last, one of the musicians I used in my shorts has asked me to send him a copy for thier local festival, in France. I thank you all for pusing me ahead. If it wasn't for the DVChallenge, I would still be looking at my camcorder and wondering what to shoot. I have 7 scripts waiting now, 3 are music videos. If you want to read the scripts, stop on over at http://www.surgetechservices.com/smchenry Thanks to you all. Much better stuff on the horizon. Sean |
Glad to hear that Sean. Congratulations and good luck!

The Look at My Shorts III festival here in Columbus, Ohio was a huge success. I was humbled to have my short piece, Frame 37 in amongst the amazing entries shown. Several of these I would have paid for to see on DVD.
As those of us with multiple entries had to pull one entry each for time reasons, Secrets will now be shown at Look at My Shorts IV to be held in April. Tonight was great. Looking forward to April and am shooting more to come. Sean McHenry |
Good stuff Sean!

Quick update...
I just received a bmp file of the actual poster they are using in the Strasbourg Film Festival in France where Frame 37 is going to be shown. It's a big file so I won't load it here but you can find it on my revamped web site. Follow the link about Frame 37 going to France on the left of the pages. Also, the local big screen showing of Look At My Shorts III Film Festival was a huge success. So much so that there were so many people in the show that they outgrew the 4 hour window. There is a LAMS III part b in the works as I type this for some time in April. The show was on the main screen of the multiplex and was sold out with over 300 seats. Very nice. I have to say I was very impressed with everyones work. My web site is in my sig below. Sean |
