a question of credits
I've just completed work on documentary short. I conducted a numbr of interviews with the main character and wrote a script based on parts of the story that fitted together with a timeframe (here's a lot more to the story and I'm aiming for a feature it the short goes well)
I fed lines to the main character to get what I wanted and it's turned out pretty well, IMHO. My question relates to credits - since I wrote the script, produced, directed the actors (for recreations), manned the camera and edited to a final result, to I list them all - it seems a bit silly. I've done that for the IMDB credit but not too sure what to do for the credits on the film itself any suggestions? |

Re: a question of credits
Paul - great question.
If just putting one's name for a credit makes it look to lonely, then to populate the screen more, depending on the target audience, I've added the location, date, the cams used, mics, recorder, and even the NLE. :-) A little something about why the story was done can add interest. |
