nNovia is about to release a new digital deck ( hard-drive recorder with removeable MediaPacs ) in about two weeks: nNovia ProFlex 100 Digital Deck
This new drive supports DV / HDV and Panasonic DVC Pro 25/50, DVCPro HD 100 720P/1080i formats. The basic deck with AC adapter sells for $1,799 US and a 120 GB MediaPac sells for $299. Hard-drive based MediaPacs are available in 80 / 100 / 120 / 160 GB sizes, and Solid-state MediaPacs are available in 16 / 32 GB sizes. Rechargeable battery packs sell for $119.
