(7q) Mode - writing into memory each time (3min wait)? ??
 

Hi folks

The latest firmware on my 7q has now meant each time you change formats into 4k > HD Prores or 4k > UHD mode you have a 3 minute wait as it writes to memory.

The previous units / firmwares I've used this only had to be done once.

I often switch between modes and this is real pain


Anyone else got this issue ??

I will ask our team to look into this.

To help us troubleshoot this problem:

What was the previous mode of the Odyssey7Q?

What is the new mode that you are loading in?

With these two pieces of information, we can attempt to duplicate this issue in our lab.

Hi Dan

Basically whenever I enter the

Raw > ProRes Hd
Or
Raw > ProRes UHD

modes from any other mode.

I have been communicating with Mat off-line.

Our team has implemented a fix for the issue that Mat presented, and this will be included in our very next firmware release.
