Switch NF off.
I take it that, it's OK to just unplug my D-Tap from the NF to turn it off.
I just thought an off switch powered it down, turning it off safely, causing no harm to the unit. The same applies to switching the NF on btw... just plug the D-tap back in. I don't mind doing this as long as no harm comes to it. Thanks in advance. |
Dear Anthony,
Yes, you can just unplug the cable. Our new Public Beta has power down mode. Our nanoFlash, in power down mode, can be powered for days with our smallest 2-Cell Lithium Ion battery. It draws about 0.2 watts in Power Down mode. Thus, one, with the Public Beta, can just power off the HD-SDI camera. |
Hi Anthony,
I have added an on/off switch to my nanoFlash setup. Not only is it very easy to use but there is no dangling lead to get caught on things. If you are interested I posted some details now on page 3 of this forum under the heading: - "An on/off switch for the nanoFlash?" |
