Plug in for Preimiere CS4
What is the exact name and perhaps link to the Plug in to make Nano files work with CS4?
Thanks Roman |
Dear Roman,
MainConcept now has a new website. I found it very hard to find the link, but here it is: MPEG Pro HD: MainConcept MainConcept has a special deal for those who own nanoFlashes. The Adobe Plug-In is only $199, if you own a nanoFlash. The process to get this discount is to email MainConcept with your name and nanoFlash serial number. Then, they give you a link to purchase it at the discounted price. I do not feel comfortable giving out the email address of the person at MainConcept who handles this program. Just email me and I will put you in touch with the right person. |

Dan,
I downloaded the trial version. It works very well. Hwoever, I generally shoot with the NanoFlash set to atleast 140 or 180. 220mbps I-Frame, is also used often. I don't know if the 4.0 plugin works with that setting very well. I think the quality of the 5.0 xdcam preset gives better quality, except of course for the audio issue. Keep pushing Adobe to do the fix! Roman |
Dear Roman,
With MainConcept, one needs to setup the various codec profiles. (I do not know what exact word they use.) The idea is that with MainConcept, you can fine-tune the Codec to your specifications. Thus, you can create a profile for our 220 Mbps I-Frame Only so that you can both import and export your video and maintain all of the quality. This is a one-time setup for the various flavors of our files that you wish to use. |
