Housing / weather proofing a Nanoflash
Just used a Nanoflash on the back of a Panasonic HDX900. Worked great but have a question on protecting the unit. I shoot a lot of adventure / wildlife documentaries. While shooting we are often out in bad weather and shooting hand-held material. I have two concerns
1) A rain cover. 2) The eject buttons being pressed accidentally. I wondered if anyone had already come up with a solution for this. A simple box / rain cover would do the job but no point reinventing the wheel if one is available? Thanks David www.lunaseafilms.com |
If your regular rain cover does not cover where the NF is mounted (depends on how your NF is mounted to the cam), just use a sandwich or slightly larger Zip-lock plastic bag.
