CS4 render?
OK, I have some 1080 "F" (Canon) HDV footage that I captured with Cineform Prospect HD. Dropped it into a Cineform sequence in CS4 and started cutting. All well and good. Closed the project and when I reopened it, red bar above the footage. Huh? Should be native, so shouldn't need to render. But I render anyhow, and now the footage is the wrong aspect ratio, stretched tall and extending out the top of the screen, as if were misinterpreting the PAR. Create a new sequence, drop the footage into it, and everything looks and behaves fine until I close the project. Reopen, it wants to render, and weirdness again. Any ideas?

Warren,
check your project settings: it looks like they don't match your footage properties... Best Vasco |
