Lighting on a XL1s?
 

Hi,

I just got back from shooting some
footage.

After logging all the Footage I noticed some light difference. When there is a shoot of a bright area and a darker object
comes in the shoot the Image brightens up
and when the object moves back out it darkens the image.

I was shooting on Manual.

How can I fix this problem in the Future?
Or was is a Setup mistake?

Did you have auto gain on?

Just checked out the Camera and the Gain is set on "A".

I guess I should have it on "0" next time?

zero or -3 as I learned from Don Berube (one of the gurus that hang out here). In fact you should really get used to everything being manual, in a short time you'll never go back.
