Which blank media to use?
 
I just bought XH-A1s and wondering if I can use sony mini dv to shoot in HD and not lose any picture quality? or should I chose different media?

I shoot on sony premium tapes only and have had no problems related to the tape that i know of.

Stick with Sony tapes. I've never had any issues with Sony tapes. Preferably their pro series tapes. PDV96HD

I've used Panny PQ since day one. A couple dropouts (2 or 3) in the past 3 years.
