SD 302 to XL-2
 

What are the settings when going into the rear XLRs (line or mic?).
And separate channels 1 & 2 (Lav to 1 and boom to 2) from SD 302.

John,
I learned by mistake that you have to set the 302 to mic level. In stock condition, it's set to line , which OVERLOADS the XL2 BIGTIME.
You could also use a couple of barrel step down converters.
