XL-2's sold
Anybody have any idea how many have been sold to date?
|
1 for sure, cause I have one.
Why are you interested. DBK |
Typically as a rule, no manufacturer will release this kind of info.
|
80 in Australia so far
|
I got one. That's two.
(. . . this could take a while . . .) JS |
I got one, so we're up to three...
I suppose, if we had a sampling of the number on this board, then some enterprising statistician could interpolate the market penetration??? Never mind. |
One for me...so that's FOUR!!!

I don't have one, so that is still four.

Guess what, I have one
I was never good at maths so I've lost count! Lawrence |

When a reitired colleague dropped into the office unexpectedly I remembered he'd been a keen amateur videographer and I thought here surely was a buyer for my XL1s. When I asked "Are you still doing video" he replied "Yes. Just got a new camera. A Canon XL2". So that one with mine adds 2 to the tally.

We have one! so that's 87 so far!
Those new XD-Cam's must be shaking in their boots :OP (or is that disc drive? whatever!) |
88 :P

I've chatted with a couple of big vendors in the USA and Canada and the XL2 is selling well. The FX1 isn't stealing it's thunder, they reall do appeal to a different market.
I'm guessing far more than the 88 we've identified. Just a guess though DBK |
