I recently purchased a Panasonic PT-AX100U front projector... the HDTV picture is great. However, I did notice that the HD picture isn't as great as my 42" plasma. (no doubt because the projector blows the image up to a 120-inch screen and shows every little imperfection in the source HD material) If any new A1 owner out there has viewed the A1's videos on a front projector, I'd love to hear any comments.

I'm deciding between the A1 and the Sony V1U. Still can't make up my mind yet... :)

I have one of these projectors. Pretty great, but only if the room is TOTALLY DARK. I am always disappointed how poor it is in even a semi-lit room. I haven't tried the A1 on it yet, but the A1 is going to be a HUGE seller for Canon. It's a great camera...you should definitely check it out.
