How is the RNG35 compared to the Letus35?

I noticed the RNG is about half the price and it doesn't have that 90 degree bend in it like the Letus does.

BTW, commercial looks good, but it needs more graininess, I think. It just looks like you shot it in color then popped B&W on it.

Nicely done! You gotta love that sep up.

BTW i don't think you need the grainyness.

I agree and it still has a "video look". I'd add a hint of grain & nudge contrast and/or gamma to take the video edge off, but that's my opinion :)

Russ Motyko March 19th, 2008 05:55 PM

Yep. Grain, contrast, gamma. In the very least some contrast.

Ramon Nova March 20th, 2008 04:37 PM

Magic bullet Looks has some nice B/W presets, you can tweak the heck out of it if you want, it also has some plugs to add grain etc.

I agree with the contract, gamma (levels?) part. I thought the stuff looked pretty washed out. But that could also be a QuickTime thing. QuickTime makes things look a bit washed out.

The whole thing looked pretty commercial "ish", I was convinced. Good job.

Looks good quality wise, but shot wise it hurts my eyes. I had a hard time tracking the focus and keeping up with the subject in interest. It's like my eyes are "hunting for focus" if you will.

It may be a combination of quick editing and all the shots having a shallow depth of field.

But all in all, looks like a commercial!

Wow. Is that Eric Bana in your little shoot?
heh.
