Vertical Banding

I'm noticing vertical banding in my footage, I was wondering about any tips to minimize that effect when shooting indoors.

I started experimenting with 30 fps vs 60 and got the lines to go away more... however when I move from a subjectively brighter area to a darker area the lines show up again... How do I get and keep that deep black that I saw in the boa clip on this forum earlier?

Is the answer to my question to become a DP? :)

You might want to try one of the presets on SCN (spotlight or sunset),and If that doesn't work pump more light in your scene.
