Hv 10

Marty,
I bought one to use as playback and for capturing, so as not to put wear on my FX1 and H1. Very tricky to figure out any other use than auto. Have you gotten anywhere with it?
Did you get your H1 and 16x lens?

bruce, you can turn the hv10 into a manual mode camera by turning autofocus off and putting the camera into shutter priority mode (Tv). this way you have access to both shutter speed and exposure (via the exposure button on the bottom rear of the camera). in this setup, the focus button serves as something along the lines of a push autofocus quite nicely. the only thing you won't have access to, unfortunately, is gain control, which i think is completely automatic.
