Lipstick camera into GL2 A/V-in. How to record?
 

Probably a simple answer to this one but I lost my manual.

I just bought a lipstick camera and ran the cable into the 3.5mm jack A/V jack. When I put the camera in PLAY mode and tool through the menu and switch the VCR mode to A/V on, I get the lipstick working. But how do I record the video from it? I hit record and I think I hear tape moving, but the counter didnt move and on playback, I saw nothing.

What am I doing wrong?

hit rec/pause to prep it, then hit play to record. kind of weird but does the job.
