Lens dust problem

I have only owned my Gl2 for a few weeks, but I seem to ALWAYS get footage with a some lens dust or something that shows up. Is this lens suceptible to focusing on lens dust very easily?

I mean my Sony, has a really dirty lens by comparison and it never records on the tape, but the GL2 always does.

I have already cleaned the lens at least three times and I have never cleaned the lens on my Sony.

Is this normal??

Using auto-focus with the lens wide and tight apertures can throw the lens into a macro-focus mode under certain lighting situations, such as light glancing across (and lighting-up) the junk on your lens. It's normal. To avoid, use manual focus and make sure to keep your lens hood mounted to minimize right-angle light on the lens.
