EF-S lens on 5D, here's what happened...
So, what happens when you try to attach an EF-S lens to a EF mount? This thing falls out...

Can't quite tell from the link - does removing the focusing screen allow you to use EF-S lenses?

EF-S doesn't have enough coverage for FF - the vignetting will be outrageous.

Well,
All I can tell you is when my assistant tried to attach the EF-S lens to the 5D that screen popped out. Someone pointed me to that link after asking what this thing was and if I could fix it myself. Be warned :) |
