what setup for editing 5d mkii in final cut express?

this may have been addressed before, but i'm new to the forum, new to video and certainly new to final cut express. i just got FCE and am wondering what apple codec setting to use.

i'm given four AVCHD options and four HDV options. any tips or tutorials out there.
