There is no inkling about when the EOS M2 will become available outside of Japan, but the Japanese introduction is described in DPReview

The interesting new features:
The Hybrid CMOS II sensor for faster focus
Wi-Fi, including Wi-Fi control
3X-10X digital zoom for video (a feature that was dropped from the original beta M)

I use the little M as a backup and walk around camera, and look forward to seeing the M2.
