Tascam DP-008 for audio?
 

We have a sudden need to double record along with the Rebel t2i, and I haven't succeeded in finding a Tascam DR-100 locally, which was our first choice (to use along with Plural Eyes). Guitar Center has this recorder available, but I haven't seen anyone talk about using it with the Canons:

It's certainly a little bulkier and heavier, and I imagine the knobs could be a pain (we're rigging a way to strap to tripod and/or camera), but wondering if anyone's had any experience with it.

We're also able to find some DR-07s locally, but with no XLR inputs I'm imagining this is a bit too dicey...

I have an Edirol R-09 WAVE/MP3 Recorder. I don't have ti2 yet but hope to use it with this camera. Have used it for other live mic-ing and it works awesome.
