Controlling the 7D with an iPhone
I'm not sure if anyone's posted something similar before but I've been playing around with controlling DSLR's using my iPhone and a remote desktop app today. iPhone remote for Canon DSLR video | Paul Joy Quite fiddly, but it's possible to control recording, focus, and camera setting etc in situations where you can't go near the camera. |

Cool video Paul. I've been using this in a similar way for recording music. I use my iPhone to start Logic Pro recording from within my vocal booth, it works excellently!
Using a VNC tool like the one you showed there means you have as many features at your fingertips as the computer would have! |

Hey Paul, was wondering if there was a reason you did it this way instead of trying the onone camera remote?
