Any killer style recipes yet?
So it appears that beyond the 6 stock color settings (including b & w, which I thought was cool), the T2i can save up to 3 different user settings. These settings seem fairly good for "out of the box" settings, but I'm sure there's gotta be better...
Has anyone come up with recipes they think are awesome? One other question - does anyone know how these settings are stored (IE - on the memory card or into the camera directly)? Thanks - john |
You want to try mine? I don't like any of the presets, even the neutral with everything down is still to contrast for me, the black are still crush and the white easily clip, do a search for how to install it, everybody has their preference but here is mine.

Khoi - I hit the link, but it just displays a bunch of letters. I am doing something wrong?

That is weird, you should get a pop up window asking you to save or notm, or send me your email address and I will email it to you.

Ooh, I'd like that too... is it just a configuration of the settings? I agree about the blacks being "crushed"...

What opens a .pf2 file? I can open with Notepad++, but who knows what it says! |
No don't open it in anything, you need to install the "Picture Style" editor that is on the disc that came with the camera and just load the .pf2 file into your camera, I found the old post here of how to do it.

My computer hates me - Any chance of just putting them here?
Also, I've heard that a lot of people are turning down the sharpness to reduce camera noise - anyone have input on this issue? john |
It's very easy to experiment and make your own picture styles.
Why use someone else's when you can roll your own. |
'Cause I'm just that lazy!
