Hey Perrone,

You seem to have a solid grasp on this. About a week ago I went through some of your suggestions for DNxHD, and it works great (However I thought you had earlier suggested the 709 instead of RGB...guess I'll try RGB now). I have another question that you may know. Do you know what I would do to conform the 60p footage to slow motion? Do I just do that in Vegas Pro, or can this be done in StreamClip, as well? Thanks for the help! Also, do you click anything for the Alpha option? Thanks again!!

SloMo is done in Vegas Pro (or other program) but not Mpeg Streamclip. And no, you don't need to click anything for the alpha channel.

Wow, thanks for the fast reply. Would this be affected by the project settings since I would have the project settings as 24fps for the rest of the footage, and then bring in the 60fps footage for slow mo. Thanks man!

Drop the 60p footage into the timeline, right click, choose properties and then choose the playback rate. 0.500 for half speed, etc.

Awesome, thanks so much!!

If he's working in a 24p timeline, I think he'd be better off with a 40% (.4) playback rate on that 60p source footage, no? At least if he wants 1-1 frames and can live with that rate of slo mo.

It was just an example...

Yea, I'll be changing it up quite a bit, as I will be using the slow motion for ramping in music videos, so I'll have some at .4, some at full speed, some at .7, you get the picture... Thanks Perrone and Bill for your help!
