converting 720 50fps to dv (playing slow motion)
I want to edit with proxies and use the original .mov files when rendering (hope this works),
The original footage is 720 50fps and i want the proxies to reflect this. How can i convert each clip (in a batch) to dv friendly with the 50 fps playing at 25 fps. In other words the dv proxies playing in the inteneded slow-mo form, not realtime. Ive played with mpeg streamclip but it seems to me any converted clip results in realtime playback. Anybody? I dont want to have to manually do each clip in AE Thx |
Ok I've figured out how to do this in AE with a batch style approach.
If anyone is interested I'll post a step by step. |
Hi Ger. If AE is slow at this, Virtualdub might be a faster solution. It can handle batches as well.

Thanks Richard, Ill look into it.
