First they'll have to thank everyone for coming, then give a history of the company, talk about the partner relationships, introduce the partners, have each partner give the history of their company, thank the management team, the technical team, the marketing team, introduce the project, introduce the project team, talk about the HDSLR, the need for a new camera, the development leading up to the new camera, then unveil the camera. So, may 9 PM?

So far speculation seems to point at a somewhat affordable 2K/4K camera with PL or EF lens mount....time will tell.

Well so far it looks like Canon did their homework. The new pics surfacing right now with it all rigged up are looking like pure camera porn. Curious about the guts but so far so good. Hopefully Chris chimes in soon, he can give us the real goods. Just my 2 cents...

I know this isn't something I should be terribly concerned with on this kind of camera.... but no XLR? Damn.

It looks like a modular design, so there will be loads of accessories added, especially if heavy cine lenses are being used. Perhaps less of a problem with the lighter stills lenses.
