Blu-ray Disc question
A few years ago, if I burned a DVD-r, it wouldn't always play on most DVD players (it's pretty much not an issue today). I'd have to find a place to create a DVD-9 to be able to have complete compatibility. Those are the discs Hollywood studios use to create DVDs we buy and rent.
Today, it seems that BD-r's don't play on all Blu-ray players; what would be the equivalent to DVD-9 for Blu-ray Discs? What the Hollywood studios use to create BDs? Thanks, Heath |

This might give you some insight. I actually have no idea how the studios make BDs, but I'd guess it's similar to the way their DVD are created. They're not burned like DVD-Rs or BD-Rs. |
Thanks very much. I did some snooping: BD-ROM, but I also saw that a bunch of players support BD-R.
