DNXHD.mov to FCP?

Is anyone using the Shuttle 2 to record DNXHD files & edit in FCP7?

Has there been any fix in the gamma shift issue? Is it possible to open Log & Transfer to transcode to ProRes? Or is there another workflow that is good?
