I was under the impression that the new season would be coming in March. Hello? I believe it's April the 1st today! Gotta love CBC for optimistic advertising.

It's been showing on the SciFi channel for a couple weeks now...

Hmm, wonder why the did that? Being homely was part of his charm :D

BBC didn't do anything... the actor didn't want to get typecast as Dr. Who.

The idea of regeneration has to be one of the best ways to deal with the problems of hiring and firing actors!

I was pleased to see that this new incarnation (of the show) stayed true to the original in most ways. Its heart is the same, and it's just cheesy enough to have the same charm.

I used to watch the really old ones with william hartnel when i was like 8 (reruns i mean), the daleks seemed a lot scarier back then though.

The Cybermen are back, eh? I'll have to keep tuned to CBC.

When I was 8 I was also watching William Hartnel, but they weren't re-runs. :-(

It seems that the CBC won't comment on when Dr. Who will air until near the end of the Hockey season! Anyway, here's a great Dr. Who site with updates:
