That's it. Your turn.

Rob Lohman September 4th, 2005 02:45 PM

Well, here goes:

"You're a peanut butter man now, eh, sir?"

"Yes, I believe I am."

I think it is Meet Joe Black.
Wasn't that one of your favorite movies too Rob?

Rob Lohman September 5th, 2005 06:14 AM

Correct and correct. It IS my favorite movie, heh.

Dylan Couper September 5th, 2005 05:34 PM

Okaaay....

Here goes:

A: Women pay me to pleasure them.
B: How did you get that job?
A: I sort of fell into it.
B: I'm going to kill my guidance counselor!

I'm gonna guess "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo"

Yup, you got it.

I actually wanted to quote Deuce Bigolow: European Gigolo, because our own Rob Lohman did some extra work in it, except I haven't seen it because it looks even worse than the first. :)

Your turn.

Rob Lohman September 6th, 2005 06:40 AM

It is actually much more worse than the original (which was kinda funny). And
as far as I can tell it they cut the couple of shots with me in it out of the movie
(there goes my 5 minutes, heh). Went by too fast to be sure though.

Jonathan Jones September 6th, 2005 10:33 AM

Okay...same genre...

"You wanna piece 'a me?"

"I don't want a piece of you. I want the whole thing!"

Someone is going to answer this one pretty quickly.
-Jon

Dimitri De Keukelaere September 6th, 2005 10:37 AM

well if it's the same genre I would guess the one with richard gere where he plays the gigolo, forgot the name

Philip Boyer September 6th, 2005 11:19 AM

The Gere movie is Looking for Mr. Goodbar.

Dimitri De Keukelaere September 6th, 2005 11:31 AM

no it's "american gigolo", I've looked it up

Philip Boyer September 6th, 2005 12:31 PM

I guess I should have looked it up too instead of relying on memory for late 70s/early 80s movies.

Jonathan Jones September 6th, 2005 09:12 PM

Reigning in....the Gere movie is "American Gigolo", but that is not the movie from which I pulled the quote. When I clued "same genre" I wasn't implying theme or content (gigolo) but rather genre as in a comedy - or in this case 'lower-mid-brow comedy'.

This one is still up for grabs. Here is a hint....the "actor" who speaks one of the lines in the quote was very likely appearing in the one scene in the only movie he ever appeared in (not positive on this one) - but is one of the most recognizable 'actors' in the movie.
